A good friend of mine, Steve from Alabama, chartered the Obsession, in search of Tarpon yesterday.
The bait was thick and we could see Tarpons rolling in and out of the bait pods. These Tarpon, which migrate up and down the beach, from Port Canaveral to Melbourne, Florida this time of year were biting pretty well.
We had 10 bites and were lucky enough to bring 2 boat side, each in the 80lb range.
This type of fishing is perfect for anyone that gets seasick or is worried about getting seasick as we were never more than 3 miles off the beach. “Capt. Brent”
